After 3 straight nights of dining and/or drinking in the hotel restaurant, decided switch it up. I love Mexican food and a margarita, and the Mexican/Korean fusion menu at Nuevo Seoul piqued my interest.

PROS: Food & Service
- Food quality – Birria Tacos were cheesy and excellent. The consommé and both salsas included were all winners. It was a round robin on what I was going to dip each bite into.
- Drink – Spicy Margarita, can’t go wrong.
- Service – Friendly staff, food was out quickly
- For the ladies… purse hooks under the bar!
CONS: The atmosphere is lacking
- Fluorescent overhead lights, felt like a hospital or airport
- Tiny and uncomfortable bar stools. Didn’t feel sturdy.
- Single use individually-wrapped plastic utensil packets. One would expect real flatware in a full-service establishment.
The vibe of the website and the menu suggested an elevated experience, but the atmosphere didn’t translate into real life. It was fine. Didn’t hate it. Didn’t enjoy the vibe enough to stay around and nurse a second cocktail.
