The SeaWheeze Half Marathon ended up a solo mission in Vancouver, and I was free to roam and be as bougie as I please for a post-race and pre-Sunset Festival snack.
Weather was beautiful, aimed for a nice looking patio, hoped I wasn’t dressed too casual for the occasion.

Joey Restaurants are common in major Canadian cities. I’ve walked by a handful in Vancouver, popped into one of the locations in Toronto… there are several.

Didn’t really have lunch post race, walked in with an appetite. Still worried to order too much food, went with a Marg, Gyoza + a Sushi Cone to start.

Finished instantly. Needed more. Waiter was probably weirded out at how well I imitated a Dyson.

- Chicken Tenders + Bubbles
- Sushi Cone + Spritz
- Cheeseburger + Wine or Beer
- Truffle Fries + Espresso Martini
- Roasted Corn Guacamole + Margarita
Ordered up Sushi Cone and a Spritz. The standout of the day was the Sushi cone. I had two. I could have eaten at least 6.
