Six weeks after returning from Europe, I was still chasing the high of Il Piccolo Buco. Found myself in Montreal multiple times during the Stanley Cup playoff, and on each Pizza Friday I had in town, NO.900 did not disappoint.
Pizzeria NO.900
2049 Rue Peel, Montréal, QC H3A 1V4, Canada
Atmosphere: Perfect. Casual, albeit a bit noisy, because it’s where all the cool kids hang out. It wasn’t empty, but still had no problem being seated along the bar/rail set up along the window facing outside. On warmer days, the glass opens up for a partially open air concept. Loved that journey for me.

Food & Drink: Limoncello spritz? Check. Arugula salad with fresh mozz on top? Check. A perfectly sized wood-fired pizza that does the chewy doughy thing? Toutes les cases cochées.
Overall Rating
All the stars. Next time I’m back in Montreal I WILL be eating here again. Now here are some very closeups of the food.
